FIRST DAY: HANOI – TUAN CHAU WHARF – SERENITY CRUISES

For those who book our transfer service will be collected from hotels around Hanoi Old Quarter. Instead of spending 4 hours on the traditional road to Ha Long city, we will shortly arrive at Tuan Chau Wharf by express way after 2,5 hours driving.
11.15-11.30: Arrive at Tuan Chau Wharf where you have a transfer to SERENITY CRUISES
She anchors far from crowded and touristy area in the calm water surrounded by beautiful islets.
12.15-12.30: Embark on SERENITY CRUISES
Warmly welcome to SERENITY CRUISES! While enjoying welcome drink, our cruise manager will deliver cruise briefing and safety introduction. After that you will check in your cabin
13: 00: Enjoy fabulous lunch
Fabulous lunch is served while SERENITY CRUISES starts her sails into to magnificent Lan Ha Bay – an extension of Ha Long Wonder which is much quiet and less touristic. She will pass famous Finger Islet, Frog Islet and thousands of uniquely shaped limestone towers and islands.
15.00: Explore Lan Ha - Ha Long bay, hit the green emerald water on kayak or swimming (if the weather permits)
SERENITY CRUISES reach Dau Be Island, one of the most beautiful islands located in the South East of Ha Long bay. It is your time to discover Ha Long bay on your own way by doing double –sharing kayak, explore the beauty of nature in hidden lagoon with lots of stalactites hang down from the ceiling cave. This activity might depend on the tide level of the bay. In case the tide level is too high or too low, we will do kayaking in Dark Cave, Bright Cave area.
16.30: Happy Hour & cooking demonstration
Back to SERENITY CRUISES after outdoor activities, this is perfect time to relax yourself. Onboard, you may join a traditional cooking class presented by our crew.
Before dinner, our experienced captain will choose the most tranquil area to anchor for overnight.
19.00: Savor deluxe Dinner Set Menu
After the incredible dinner, take your leisure time to chat at the bar, watch the movie in the restaurant, enjoy Spa treatment … You will stay overnight on boat
SECOND DAY: EXPLORE CAT BA ISLAND.
6:30: Do Tai-chi session on sundeck
Be an early bird for photo hunt and join our Taichi session on the sundeck to refresh your body and mind. SERENITY CRUISES continues her sail to Cat Ba Island, passing amazing karst towers. Tea, coffee and breakfast is served with fresh air and peaceful surroundings.
8.30: Leave SERENITY CRUISES to canoe for transferring to Beo Dock
9.00 : Travel to Cat Ba National Park from Beo Dock by bus
There will be time for bushwalking into the wild. We will pass through Kim Giao forest, reach the highest point named “Ngu Lam Peak” which offers a great view of the whole island and its biosphere reserved.
Besides, Trung Trang cave - an ideal destination for nature lover is also a highlight of the day. Trung Trang cave features 400 meters length through mountains, which is a natural cave created by heaven over two thousand years of history.
12:30 – Have lunch in the island
After trekking time in the national park, you will take the bus to Cat Ba Town, enjoy delicious lunch
Finishing the lunch, you will have time to discover the local life on your own. Then you go to the most beautiful beaches: Cat Co I,II, III for swimming.
15:00 – Visit Cannon Fort
This area is also considered as one of the most spectacular landscape viewpoints in Vietnam. There, you will not only enjoy spectacular views of Cat Ba Island as well as Lan Ha Bay but also learn more our history of Vietnam
16:00 – Go back to SERENITY CRUISES
Canoe will pick you up and take you back to SERENITY CRUISES. Relax on sundeck with a cocktail before dinner is served.
19:00 – Enjoy Dinner
You may take the rest of the night with drinks on sundeck, watch TV in your room, or try your luck with catching squids …
THIRD DAY: SERENITY CRUISES – VIET HAI VILLAGE – TUAN CHAU WHALF
6:30: Do Taichi session on sundeck
Be an early bird for photo hunt and refresh yourself with Taichi. If you already joined in the previous morning, it’s a second chance for you to nail it. Light breakfast is served then
7.45: Visit Viet Hai Village
Our crew will take you to Viet Hai, a small village located in the midst of jungles, covered by high mountains range of Cat Ba National Park. Spending around 30 minutes for biking along, you will feel the peaceful atmosphere, charming scenery of a typical village in the North of Vietnam.
9:15: Return SERENITY CRUISES to refresh relax and prepare for check- out
10:00: Taste delightful lunch
During the time well prepared brunch is served, SERENITY Cruises slowly navigates emerald water and thousands of karst mountains towards the Harbour.
11.30-11.45: Disembark SERENITY CRUISES and farewell the crew
12.15-12.30: “Goodbye Lan Ha – Ha Long bay”
Return at Tuan Chau Wharf and get ready for driving back to Hanoi (for booking in advanced)
15.30: Arrive at your hotel around Hanoi Old Quarter, end of unforgettable journey.
